Along with the landscape and nature, gastronomy is another of the major appeals for visitors coming to the Vall de Pop. An excellent range of recipes going from the dishes with a local and rural flavour prepared with local products to others that were brought in by the immigrants who have settled in La Vall over its history, such as the cold meat tradition originating in the Balearic Islands and couscous from northern Africa.
Such well-known dishes as "El Espencat", " Les Coques" and paella, forming part of the traditional recipes of these villages, are just a sample representing these foods.
